I’m not really what you call a golf person. But recently, this sport really gave me a lot to make me say that I should have played the game a long time ago.

To start with, all those who came before me were die-hard golf fanatics. My dad was a school player, my granddad won a state championship during his time, and those before him were also golf buffs. Throughout the years, they have collected quite a collection of golf promotional products.

All those golf balls and tees promotional products were enshrined in a corner of a room in our house. For the duration of my young life, I never had an interest in those gifts. However, a visit from an old friend considerably turned my perception around.

The guy wanted to get all those promotional items, including all the golf caps and hats promotional products hanging around the house. He was an avid collector of golf memorabilia. At first I found it weird that someone even had a knack for all those stuff, but when he offered me a handsome amount of money for them, everything changed. He was dead serious in offering me the cash, and even asked me to name my price.

All those promotional items were really worth quite a lot, but I decided not to sell it. I realized that they were not mere accessories in the house anymore. Instead, it spoke of our family’s history for more than half a century. Those items are really worth more than a couple of thousands of dollars.
